The Sun is in Aries and the Moon is opposite in Libra. The big theme for this Full Moon is balancing "Me" vs. "We" in relationships. We can consider the Full Moon in Libra to be our yearly check-in for the relationship sector of our lives.
Fire and Air are the dominant energies in the sky at this Full Moon. Fire is initiation, Air is communication. How perfect! We can communicate around our needs and wants (in our relationships) and then take action to make the necessary changes for healing, ease and harmony.
The Sun is in Aries, holding hands with both Venus and Chiron. Venus is the planet of love, pleasure, affection, beauty, art- it brings the gift of happiness. It also rules Libra. Chiron (it's not really a planet, but it's impact cannot be discounted) is known as the "wounded healer", it shows up to heal our wounds, the wounds we came into this life with and the ones we've gained along the way. When we heal our wounds, we gain compassion, strength and wisdom.
Check out the dominant blue lines in the chart. The big, blue triangle is called a Grand Trine. The smaller, blue triangle is known as a "Kite". These aspects involve the Moon (emotions), Mars (action, assertiveness), Saturn (discipline), the Sun (ego), Venus (love) and Chiron (healing wounds).
